OKEAN ELZY - the most famous band of Ukraine - will organize a concert in Tallinn's Saku Suurhalla on September 8 in support of their country.

The 27-year-old band is an integral part of the recent history of their country. Having emerged three years after the collapse of the USSR, it went through all the important stages of its almost 30-year journey together with Ukraine.

Ukrainians themselves call the songs of this band the soundtracks of their destiny. With these songs, people met, fell in love, became friends, got married, and then named their newborn daughters Elsa :), went to rallies to fight for their rights, made unprecedented revolutions in the fight for justice, and in the last 8 years fought battles with the occupiers .

The band is currently planning several solo concerts to support the country, which is waging a heroic defensive struggle against the aggressor. The band's leader, soloist Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, was on the front lines from the first day of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, supporting the fighters in the harshest places and providing them with the necessary volunteer assistance.

The funds received from the concerts are directed to humanitarian aid, especially to children affected by the war, as well as to medical institutions.

The band's calling card is songs with a melody specific to Ukraine and, at the same time, a powerful concert impression exclusively performed live.
